Girl at lookout point in Asia

Tip! Counterfeits are common in China. All the notes handled by us are carefully inspected; both manually and by using the latest available technology. You can always be assured that the notes received from us are genuine. One of the most common way to scam tourists is to exchange the genuine note to a counterfeit. This is usually done by taxi drivers and by clerks in shops. They claim that the note you are paying with is a counterfeit but actually the note has been changed by the driver or the clerk. This is done very fast and with great finesse. If this happens to you, by threatening to call the police usually solves the matter. The Chinese police is well aware of this kind of criminal activity and often only mentioning the police will scare the person from proceeding with the scam.
