Egypt - Egyptian pound (EGP)

In Egypt cash is widely used as mean of payment. The general price level is low compared to Finland. For tourists the prices tend to be a little bit higher than for the local population. Some hotels accept card payments but cash is still needed for taxi rides and shopping in the smaller local shops. Tipping and bargaining is typical to Egypt. At markets and bazaars always strive to bargain a much lower price.
